Mary Who?

Another cool piece from Jonathan Adler. Got this "Hashish" candle for one of my friends for Christmas. Even if you are not into Mary Jane (I'm not) the packaging is brilliant and fun and the smell of the candle? Well, let your neighbors think what they want. Life is more fun when you keep people guessing!

Looking Good 24/7

Love Caroline's rad style

caroline from carolinesmode

I really love how she knows her "look" and does variations of it to keep it fresh. I am also into the way she wears the same awesome pieces (AW bag, Balenciaga bag, Isabel Marant coat, leather pants etc.) in new ways throughout her blog. It really isn't about always having something new - it's about how you mix it up.

Karl Lagerfeld Does Moto Gear

Been looking for a new unique helmet for when I ride my vespa and spotted this line called RUBY while at the motorcycle store GLORY SALES in Los Feliz. Ultra cool and not generic looking helmets from Paris - I totally fell for the limited (of 100) Karl Lagerfeld helmet (before I knew it was KL). Bummer that it's $1,800.

Hate Never Looked So Good

My rad friend Gillian got me this HATE jar by Jonathan Adler for Christmas. She tried in vain to get me the AMBIEN jar but seems like they either sold out or may have been taken off the market - which is really too funny!

This apothecary jar is part of the Jonathon Adler "Druggist" Collection. Gotta love this guy - he comes up with the best ideas.

Burlesque

My super cool aunt got me this limited edition Burlesque Set from Smashbox for Christmas and I love it!  The double ended lip gloss is my fav and the eyeliner goes on so smooth - I almost feel like I know what I am doing - since I don't wear a ton of make-up regularly!

Isolated

ISOLATED is an epic new surf movie that's coming out soon. Shot on location in Papa New Guinea the scenery is stunning, the surf epic, and the adventures insane. Looking forward to the films release.

Also am stoked that they included pro surfer Jenny Useldinger - that girl rides monster waves that scare the crap out of most guys.

Kalyx Spring 2011 Lookbook

Some shots from the 2011 Spring Lookbook I styled for Kalyx.

The black sports bra shown in the first photo and the last photo is one of my fav pieces (Uplift Sports Bra $42) - doesn't flatten you and looks super hot on.

You may remember from a past blog post that Kalyx was nice enough to feature me as their woman of the week this past year - so honored!

State and Lake

Amazing State and Lake leather jacket at Shopbop - on sale.
So perfect.

The Black Swan

I saw the new movie THE BLACK SWAN this weekend. Besides being drawn in by every aspect of this gorgeous film, my first thought was that I have a feeling that this spring there will be "dancer" looks everywhere. Pretty, easy to layer and completely wearable. Add those dainty Jamie Wolf earrings and necklace Natalie Portman was wearing in the film and you are set.

Loved the gorgeous pastels Natalie wore through out the film, but was even more intreguied by the black on black layers Mila Kunis had on. It seemed as if I was always craving more screen time for Mila so I could assess what she was wearing.

I also loved the costumes Rodarte did for the dance scenes (makes me want to buy a tutu!) as well as the white gown Natalie's character wears to her party.

This film was visually inspiring to me and I wish I could go back frame by frame and dissect all the looks.

By the way if anyone knows what over sized black bag Mila's character carried please let me know... Chanel perhaps?
